Traveling from Factions to Nightfall? - Guild Wars Forums

Basically, I made a new ranger in Factions (because the new player skins for Rangers suck in Nightfall), and I'm leveling through the first few levels on the Factions Island, but personally, I hate the Factions PvE, Nightfall is much more fun. So at what level/place/location can I transport my Factions character out to the Nightfall island, and where is this done?

You can't go to Elona (i.e. Nightfall) until you leave Shing Jae island. Basically, what you need to do is to (at least) clear the last mission on the isalnd (Zen Daijun) and then proceed to the mainland. On the mainland (from The Marketplace), travel to Kaineng Center (via Bukdek Byway) and the route to Elona should be announced; you'll need to complete a quest called "Sunspears in Cantha" to eventually get the ability to travel to Elona.

So essentially, I'll have to do most of my leveling on Shing Jae.

Well, at least the first few chapters of the Elona campaign will be easy. =/

Erm, sorry for the double post, but do I have to complete the other 2 missions in Shing Jae before I can start on the last mission?

You have to complete Zen Daijun to ferry over to the mainland. You'll have to complete Minister Cho's Estate before you can reach Daijun. Which missions are you talking about? There are only two on the island.
Beat Daijun = Access to mainland = Quest to Elona

Once you get to the Marketplace on the mainland, load up a full hench team and head out the north gate, hugging along the coastline northwards. There will be one group of high level afflicted along the way... just run past them, let the henchmen take the heat, and keep heading north. Kaineng Center is just a little ways passed there, and that's where the quest to Elona is. I've rushed a Factions character through to Kaineng before and arrived there at lvl 12.
